Insert Waggler floats

Insert waggler float – a float with a thin insert in the top of the float to increase sensitivity. The low buoyancy of the insert means better bite detection when pulled under by fish or in a lift bite.

Insert Waggler float – Additional

  • Straight waggler with a thin tip inserted
  • Purpose – to increase sensitivity
  • Less buoyancy in the tip, easier to pull under fish less likely to feel
  • Can be fished on the drop or on the bottom
  • Same rigs as straight waggler
  • Where to use – stillwater or very slow water
  • When to use – Shy biting fish, Roach, Crucians F1’s, in the winter
