Insert waggler float – a float with a thin insert in the top of the float to increase sensitivity. The low buoyancy of the insert means better bite detection when pulled under by fish or in a lift bite.
Insert Waggler float – Additional
- Straight waggler with a thin tip inserted
- Purpose – to increase sensitivity
- Less buoyancy in the tip, easier to pull under fish less likely to feel
- Can be fished on the drop or on the bottom
- Same rigs as straight waggler
- Where to use – stillwater or very slow water
- When to use – Shy biting fish, Roach, Crucians F1’s, in the winter
